Creating a Festive Video for Charity

The Parkers team have once again shown incredible dedication, giving their time and energy to create their much loved festive video. This Christmas, they also wanted to give something back to the community.

The team shared: “If you’ve enjoyed watching our festive video, we’d love you to support our fundraising for Bridge for Young People  a fantastic charity helping young people transition from care into independent adulthood.”

A huge thank you goes to the wonderful Parkers staff who took part, as well as the fantastic local businesses who supported the filming: The Rhubarb Tree Pangbourne, Hillier Garden Centres, Reading Buses, Golden Touch Turkish Barber, and Agents Giving.

About Bridge for Young People

Young People and Children First, known as Bridge for Young People, provides safe accommodation and dedicated support for young people aged 16–25 who are leaving care or experiencing homelessness.  They currently run four housing projects across West Berkshire: Rebecca House, Hope House, Wessex House, and Wessex Flatlets.

Many of the residents have faced significant challenges during their childhood. At Bridge for Young People, they offer a stable home alongside emotional and practical support, helping young people build confidence and develop the skills they need to move successfully into independent living.
