Furnishing Futures is a briliant charity that transforms empty social housing into warm, safe and fully furnished homes for women and children rebuilding their lives after escaping domestic abuse.
For many survivors, moving into a new property is only the first step. They often arrive with nothing, no beds, sofas, tables, curtains or even flooring. Furnishing Futures works with the interiors industry to rescue high-quality furniture that would otherwise go to waste, creating beautiful, welcoming homes where families can begin to heal and look forward to a brighter future.
A commitment to helping vulnerable families rebuild their lives
Emma is aiming to raise £2,000, enough to provide the essential items a family needs when starting again. Every donation, no matter the size, will make a real difference. For example:
- £50 could provide a wellbeing kit for a woman beginning again.
- £100 could fund a baby and children’s bundle.
- £150 could provide a kitchen essentials bundle.
- £300 could help furnish a home with a full home bundle.
