Furnishing Futures is a remarkable charity

Emma Foy, Chief Operations Officer at RentGuarantor is taking on an incredible challenge this September, cycling from London to Paris to raise vital funds for Furnishing Futures, with support from the Agents Giving Grant Fund.

Furnishing Futures is a briliant charity that transforms empty social housing into warm, safe and fully furnished homes for women and children rebuilding their lives after escaping domestic abuse.

For many survivors, moving into a new property is only the first step. They often arrive with nothing, no beds, sofas, tables, curtains or even flooring. Furnishing Futures works with the interiors industry to rescue high-quality furniture that would otherwise go to waste, creating beautiful, welcoming homes where families can begin to heal and look forward to a brighter future.

A commitment to helping vulnerable families rebuild their lives

Emma is aiming to raise £2,000, enough to provide the essential items a family needs when starting again. Every donation, no matter the size, will make a real difference. For example:

  • £50 could provide a wellbeing kit for a woman beginning again.
  • £100 could fund a baby and children’s bundle.
  • £150 could provide a kitchen essentials bundle.
  • £300 could help furnish a home with a full home bundle.

Emma’s London to Paris cycle challenge is not only a test of endurance but a commitment to helping vulnerable families rebuild their lives with dignity, comfort and hope. Every mile she rides will help raise awareness and much-needed funds for this life-changing cause.

The Agents Giving Grant Fund, supported by The Guild of Property Professionals, is proud to support Emma’s fundraising journey and wishes her every success as she pedals towards Paris for such an inspiring charity.
