Dedicated to helping children suffering with life limiting illnesses
Tom Charlesworth Divisional Training Manager at Spicerhaart and Emma Barber Head of Training of Spicerhaart and Chair of Magic Moments are constantly fundraising and supporting for the 13 Children’s Hospices around the country that are situated close to their branch network which enables the staff to get involved and see the difference the fundraising makes.
Leaving on the 1st December 2024 the team at Spicerhaart will be taking 26 families from their hospices from around the country on a four day trip to Disneyland Paris.
All of these families have children with life limited illness or bereaved and many have never travelled abroad before. in total there will be 50 people travelling, 28 of which will be children, many with wheelchairs, oxygen and complex medical needs.
Agents Giving are honoured to support the magnificent fundraising allowing children with life limited illnesses have a family dream together. Families who are going through the hospice journey create magical memories at Disneyland Paris.
About Magic Moments
Magic Moments was founded by Alick Smith, the chairman of Spicerhaart in 1998 alongside his wife Val. Since then Spicerhaart, the UK’s largest independent estate agent, has continually fundraised and organized events for employees and supporters to take part in to raise funds for the trips to Disneyland Paris.
Across the Spicerhaart network with support from family and friends, suppliers and partners our colleagues continually work to raise money for Magic Moments. Some events are regular 3 peaks and London to Brighton cycle challenges, Dragon Boat races, quiz nights, and regular raffles among others and constant support across the network for fundraising.
Our Committee is also largely made up of Spicerhaart colleagues planning fundraising events and trips for the families to Disneyland Paris.
