Suzanna Mavity DoItForDom

Do It For Dom has been massively successful in raising almost £200,000 since 2018, but when Covid meant that the events planned for 2020 had to be canceled.

Suzanna was therefore keen to do something that, “told everyone that we had not forgotten about our friend Dom and that we were going to try harder than ever to raise these much-needed funds.”

It takes a lot of guts to attempt to climb the near 6,000 meters of Kilimanjaro solo and the trek will take 8 days to complete.

Suzanna will be carrying out this massive feat as most of us settle down to tuck into our Christmas dinner. “I’m spending Christmas climbing the mountain and there are some practical challenges to overcome in doing so. I will have to carry my own equipment, including food supplies and several power banks to keep my phone going!”

Climbing Kilimanjaro

“I am spending my Christmas doing this challenge so if you won’t sponsor me for the physical aspect of it, please give generously for me missing my Christmas dinner but most importantly for 8 days of no shower or toilet!  (I’m a 2 showers a day kinda girl!). Every penny counts and I would really appreciate your support throughout the event as it’s going to be difficult both mentally and physically.”
