This was a physical and mental challenge

EweMove Branch Director James White took on the biggest challenge of his lifetime by travelling to Nepal to complete the Everest base camp trek, all in Aid of The Knights Foundation, a charity close to James heart.  The Knights Foundation look after many families and children who are disabled, terminally ill or living in extreme poverty. All money raised will be donated to the foundation.

The trek covered a distance of 130km, reaching altitudes of 5,380m and with no creature comforts in sight!  This was both a physical and mental challenge for James, as he informed he’d not been training for the climb to Base Camp Everest, so everyone wished James luck!

James successfully made the climb to Base Camp Everest helping to raise £26,000 for The Knights Foundation.

Taking on the challenge has been a goal of James

James comments “Taking on the challenge had been a goal of mine for some time and I feel very lucky to be in a position to have taken this on. I completed the trek with a great group of people who also share the same passion about the foundation that I do.

The Knights Foundation has recently opened up a lodge in Shorefield, that has been fully adapted for many disabilities, so by completing this challenge it will also enable families to have some much needed respite to stay in the lodge free of charge. As a father myself I value quality time with my family so by completing base camp everest, the money I raise will enable families the chance to build and create memories that they will treasure forever”.

Agents Giving and The Guild of Property Professionals are proud to support and congratulate James, climbing to Base Camp Everest.
