Paul Wood of Pygott & Crone entered a team into the Lincoln 10k Marathon on April 7th 2019. Initially, Paul only expected 10 – 20 runners, however, the final figure was 64 runners taking part from 9 Pygott & Crone local branches.
All the runners raised money for the Lincolnshire St Barnabas Charity. Paul informed we did not expect this large response and place entries are going to cost 1,600 plus branded T-shirts around 450 pounds. Agents Giving support grant will help towards these costs, giving more for the St Barnabas Charity.

Pygott and Crone employ over 100 staff across 11 offices throughout Lincolnshire and we received a fantastic response to our call for entries from our staff. We’ve seen entries from directors, managers, front & back-office staff, and viewings co-ordinators; representing residential sales, lettings, land & new homes, commercial, agricultural, surveys, mortgages, and marketing – with ages and abilities right across the board!
We are exceptionally proud of everyone for getting involved and helping us to raise funds for Lincolnshire St Barnabas Hospice.
St Barnabas Hospice is the leading charity in Lincolnshire providing palliative and end-of-life care to adults living with a life-limiting or terminal illness. Their mission is to ensure all individuals facing the end of their life in Lincolnshire receive dignified, compassionate care when they require it and where they ask for it.
The Lincoln 10K is one of the biggest and best-loved road-runs in the region – and is always over-subscribed so we made sure to get our team entry in good and early! The course takes in many of Lincoln’s landmarks and is always well-attended with great support offered on the sidelines from the residents of Lincoln and beyond. You’re more than welcome to come along and cheer us on! At the time of writing it’s only 11 weeks away – better dust off those running shoes – you can follow our progress our Twitter!
To apply for a grant please complete the application form and the team will be in touch.
The grant is for agents and suppliers to the industry to help with their event set up costs. Grants of up to £250 per office per year can be provided and you will need to supply a write up of your event along with an image to help Agents Giving promote your event oral social media platforms and website. Applicants will be given the Agents Giving logo to use in their marketing and PR. It is so simple to apply. Terms and conditions apply.
There are many ways to get involved with Agents Giving from organising your own fundraising event to coming to one of ours.
You can organise an event and raise money for Agents Giving, just as many of our supporters do, from cycle rides, to canoeing coast to coast to a Soapbox Challenge event. Come to one of our events, and you’ll have a great time with industry colleagues and at the same time raise money for many amazing charities and wonderful causes across the UK.
In 2018, together with all our supporters, we donated to over 80 charities. In 2019 we want to beat that, so get in touch and add your charity to the list. All agents that work with us can display our logo on their website and marketing collateral. We will also send you window stickers for you to display to show your community that you are part of the Agents Giving network.
