Team Urban Evolution giving up their beds in aid of homelessness

As a property management company, Urban Evolution believe strongly in the need for safe effective housing. Homelessness is a serious issue in Liverpool, and because of Covid-19 the risk of greater homelessness is a concern for the team.

To highlight this, on the 8th October 2020 they are giving up the luxury of their beds for the night to help raise money and awareness for Centrepoint and their work to prevent homelessness for young people throughout the UK.

Centre Point supports young people to recover their health and find a job

Sleep out raises money to help change the story for thousands of homeless 16-25 year olds in the UK. 110,000 young people experience homelessness every year and the effects can be devastating.

Centrepoint supports young people to recover their health and find a job and home of their own. Their approach works and 88% of those they work with leave Centrepoint positively.

It's amazing to see the great work Centrepoint do for young people

Head of Lettings Daniel George at Urban Evolution comments “Please sponsor us as much as you can because although we are ¬†spending just one night outside of our comfort zone, homeless young people will have faced much worse.

I have attended a meeting with Centrepoint via zoom and it was amazing to see all the things they do for young people. It was lovely to hear 88% of people who use their services go onto better lives. If anything it has given me the drive to want to do more for centre point in the future. Due to us wanting to do charity events quarterly – it will be nice to have plenty of event ideas that centre point offer us”.
