Jamie’s U9’s football team ran, walked, swam and cycled 804 miles! 9 Jun 2020

They might be small but their mighty fit!

Just under one month, Jamie Aspland Manager of  Sleaford Town U9’s football team, coaches, family and friends managed to raise well over their target 0f £804.  The target represented the 804 miles round trip from Wembley to Hampden Park, all in aid of Marie Curie Charity, The Stroke Association and Sleaford Town FC.

Congratulations to everyone involved, a great experience for the young people.

Wembley Stadium to Hampden Park 804 miles!

Branch Manager Jamie Aspland of Pygott and Crone in Sleaford, Lincolnshire,  is also the Manager of  Sleaford Town under 9’s football team.

From 11th May – 11th June, as a Team, the boys and Coaches are required to run, walk, cycle or swim the equivalent distance of a round trip from Wembley Stadium to Hampden Park, 804 miles in total.  This is also a great excuse for parents and siblings to join in!

Our team may well only be small!

Jamie comments “Our team may well only be small, but has been affected by an awful lot over the last season. Especially the last few months! We’re raising funds for our Under 9’s team, Sleaford Town Football Club, Marie Curie and Stroke Association.

We appreciate it maybe hard for a lot of people at the moment but any donation big or small would be greatly appreciated”.
