Vanessa Foot – Culture and Community Engagement Manager for Leaders Romans Group has shown Agents Giving some of the ways their staff have been helping and volunteering during the pandemic.

Volunteering as a rider For The Love Of Scrubs
Property Manager Sarah Campbell-Dawson who is based in the Nottingham branch, is volunteering as a rider for a charity group called For The Love Of Scrubs. The group have banded together across the UK and are asking for fabric donations to make masks, ear savers, hats scrubs and scrub bags. There are lots of individuals part of the group, including 6,000 bikers delivering the much needed PPE and individuals with 3D printers making unobtainable parts for ventilators.

We love hearing about what our staff are doing
Matt White Assistant Sales Manager at Romans Basingstoke has been helping out at the Basingstoke ambulance station by restocking and readying the trucks in between crew changes.

We're more than just Estate Agents
Some of Romans Leader Group part-time employees work full-time elsewhere – including the lovely Donna Newmarch. Donna is a Lettings Advisor at Romans TIlehurst on weekends, but during the week Donna works in the Adult Social Care Team at Frimley Park Hospital. Donna and her admin team work with the district nurses to assist with social care requirements and help service users with finding care in the community.

Adam wants to raise as much as possible
Leaders Roman Group comment “We’re so proud of Adam! One of our dedicated Property Managers at our head office in Wokingham, he has overcome the disappointment of the Bracknell Half Marathon being cancelled and decided to run it anyway”.
Adam will be personally donating £1 for each of his ‘lockdown training miles’ and then will run the 13.1 mile route to raise as much as possible for the NHS.
Great work Adam!

Covid-19 has hit families hard
Boyer (a multi skilled planning consultancy) Midlands Team all donated a range of essential food items to The Trussell Trust food bank in Loughborough on Monday 8th June.
The economic turmoil caused by Covid-19 has hit local families hard so it felt right to do our little bit to help out with this donation.

Boyers appealing to commuters at London Bridge Station
Boyer amongst other volunteers have been at London Bridge Station appealing to commuters for donations for The Trussell Trust Southwark food bank . Today is very different day and in light of the current circumstances, Southwark food bank are instead launching their first ever Digital Food bank Friday. The food bank rely on donations to continue their vital work across the borough, ensuring help is given to those most in need, which is even more important during this very uncertain and difficult time.

Derek has been collecting and delivering prescriptions
Derek McKenzie of McLaughlins is one of the Leaders Roman Group Chartered Surveyors based in Telford. Derek is volunteering as a local Responder and has been collecting prescriptions from the local pharmacy to deliver to vulnerable people and those self-isolating.
