MIO supports Salisbury Trussell Trust 6 Apr 2020
Many villagers coming together
Founder Emma Vigus Managing Director of MIO is supporting the Salisbury Trussell Trust food bank.
Salisbury local community have set up a facebook group for villagers and residents to inform everyone of essential food and toiletry items that are in short supply at the food bank. Donations are taken to Waitrose which is one of the drop off points for the food bank.
Food banks are in high demand in normal times, due to the coronavirus pandemic a huge rise in people and families needing urgent food is continuing in great numbers.
There are many ways how you can support, donate and volunteer.
Salisbury Foodbank have made the following announcement:

IN RESPONSE TO CORONAVIRUS
It is with regret that we have to announce 2 of our foodbankcentre closures as a temporary measure.
- St Pauls Foodbank Centre
- Bemerton St. Michaels foodbank Centre
EMERGENCY FOOD PARCELS ARE AVAILABLE FROM THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS:
- Amesbury Foodbank Centre – 1-3pm Tuesday – Friday.
- Bemerton Trussell Trust community shop – Please check locally for opening times.
- Unit 6b Ashfield Trading estate. SP2 7HL. These will ONLY be available from 2 -4 PM on Monday, Thursday & Friday until Further notice.
Food parcels can only be redeemed with a relevant referral form ( usually red)
I’m contacting our referral partners and will issue an active list of agencies over the coming days.
