Nicol & Co Fundraising & Having Fun 4 Jun 2020
Children's Facebook Colouring Competition
The team have recently concluded a children’s colouring competition inviting followers to like and share on social media to keep some of the local home schooling children occupied with prizes awarded for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place.
After two weeks one talented young artist emerged with the most likes in the Doorway Decoration contest.

Ruby was the winner and won a grand prize with a whopping total of 259 Facebook likes for her interpretation of the Nicol & Co office doorway.
Runners up were Bobby & Billie. Amazing colouring was shown by all the entrants – well done!
Let's Go Spotty For Dotty!
On Friday 29th May the Nicol & Co team raised £118 by going Spotty for Dotty for the day! They all wore a spotty outfit for the day to raise funds for The Grace Kelly Childhood Cancer Trust.

The Grace Kelly Childhood Cancer Trust is a charity for childhood cancer awareness, early diagnosis, research and support. Because The Children Of Today All Deserve A Tomorrow.
Supporters could wear something spotty for the day or turn their house spotty or even their street.

The team at Nicol & Co are using virtual technology which has helped them raise at least £1,000 for the NHS as a ‘thank you’ for its efforts tackling COVID-19.

And for every instruction signed up the company is donating £100 to a special fund to assist the local NHS in its battle against the pandemic.
With 10 new instructions signed and four more contracts out for signatures since launching the initaitive, Nicol & Co is set to donate at least £1,000 to the fund, with more to come if further instructions are signed by 21 April.

Nicol & Co, which has branches in Droitwich Spa and Worcester, has been carrying out valuations by live video for anyone thinking of selling their home.

Matt Nicol, Managing Director, comments;
“This is a great way for us to keep doing the kind of personal business we always strive to provide whilst respectng the measures needed to beat COVID-19. We’re all so grateful to our NHS for what they’re doing, so it made sense for this actvity to benefit the health service at the same time.”
The Nicol & Co branch window displays also reflect the teams ongoing support to the NHS.

NHS Laundry Scrub Bags

A very well done to Karen Nicol who has made 195 NHS laundry scrubs bags and one set of scrubs made so far for NHS heroes on behalf of Nicol & Co, there is still some material left to produce over 200 in total. They look amazing!
