Phil Spencer supporting his local food bank 25 Jan 2021

Taking on a weekly shift at Farnham Food Bank
Agents Giving Patron Phil Spencer has been supporting his local Trussell Trust food bank during both the summer lockdown and including this recent lockdown we find ourselves in.
Working a weekly shift at his local Farnham food bank, Phil comments “I’ve just got back from my deliveries today, there are interesting stats that everyone should be aware of the demand and need has grown by 145% from December 2019 compared with December 2020”.
With demand growing at such an alarming rate we all need to do what we can to support our local food bank efforts to help provide food and supplies for local families in need.

Supporting local people in crisis
The Farnham food bank supports local people and families in crisis. Last year there were 1,292 three day emergency supplies given to people in crisis. Just under half of these emergency supplies were to given to children and people under 25 years old.
Your support to your local food bank by making a donation or volunteering in these challenging times will make a huge difference. Details here how you can support your local food bank drive to help make a big difference to families struggling in your area.
