Reapit supporting GoodSAM NHS Volunteers 31 Mar 2020
The NHS, have sent out a message to the nation to call for 250,000 volunteer responders to support the 1.5 million at risk from the coronavirus. There has been a huge response for supporting the NHS and all the emergency key frontline workers.
Gary Barker CEO of Reapit and Board Director of Agents Giving is seeing first hand the work that the NHS are trying to do and working extremely hard to deliver, Gary wants to do more (for those that don’t know his wife is a GM for the hospital coordinating much of the overall activities and it’s important work, as the NHS needs help).
Reapit are committed to the GoodSAM NHS Responders and any member of their team who is not committed to their customers will be asked to support the campaign. Gary knows that he must ensure their platform is available to all their agents to ensure they can keep in contact with their landlords, tenants, buyers and applicants. Anyone at Reapit who we can move to volunteer will be asked if they can support this objective.
Gary quotes “so far most of the Reapit team have signed up as have the Agents Giving team”.
The GoodSAM programme enables volunteers to provide care or to help a vulnerable person, which is permitted under the new rules announced by the Government on 23rd March 2020. Volunteers may be asked to show the active task they are responding to if asked. All applicants must be 18 years and over.
