National Nurses Day

With that in mind, they created a combination of colour pages unique to them with X1 Locations and picturesque scenes which is a great way to revisit familiar surroundings which aren’t possible to get to at the moment.
This was another option they were providing their tenants as a new and fun way to relieve any anxiety or simply a new hobby to relax and pass the time.

There to chat

Their marketing department have revised a new strategy simply focusing on constant, clear communication with tenants. They are providing weekly check in calls with their tenants, just a simple friendly chat and catch up to check they are ok, if they need anything and simply just to help them hear a familiar voice as many live alone.
It was from doing their calls that one team member spoke with an NHS nurse who lives in an X1 building. She raised her concerns about the amount her washing was costing due to having to wash her uniform more frequently. Therefore they decided to send her £40 cash via bank transfer to help support her for all her hard work during this period.
Their residents mental health is a big focus in the current situation, the team are focusing their efforts on daily email campaigns with self-care tips such as links to free meditation and free workouts.
Positivity Takeover
X1’s desire to care for and help X1 residents spreads throughout the wider team and not just their marketing department. X1’s Executive PA Rhiannon who has a passion for meditation and overall wellbeing has created an X1 Instagram takeover every Wednesday called ‘Riri’s Positivity Takeover’.
Every Wednesday Rhiannon goes live on X1’s Instagram and Facebook Stories to share her positivity and self care advice for the week. This week was her first one which she discussed the importance of a continued routine for the mind, reassured tenants if they had nobody to talk to to give her a call and provided a at home HIIT session.
After the first week, they saw a spike in interaction from their residents as Rhiannon was live, responding back to her stories communicating about their experiences, thanking her and even asking her to call them for a chat!
Shopping for NHS workers
Within the umbrella company of X1 is X1 Developments. One of their team members Anthony and his family decided to contact his local Tesco’s superstore and pay for 50 bags of essential shopping to be packed up for NHS workers in his local hospital in Liverpool.
Anthony then collected all 50 bags and drove to the local hospital and distributed them amongst the wards, A&E, paramedics and those on the front line. He told us they were so grateful for the Tesco shopping essentials as when they finish their 12+ hour shifts they are too tired to go shopping.
X1’s Block Management Support
X1’s Block Management team decided to help residents who are isolating by collecting their rubbish. All tenants where informed that if they do have symptoms, please just leave their rubbish outside their apartment door and our Block Management teams will collect it on their behalf.
Their onsite Security teams have volunteered to help any residents who are also self isolating and need essentials from the supermarkets to inform security and they will go and collect their essentials for them and leave outside their apartment doors.
NHS Clap for our Carers
The team wanted to show their full support and appreciation to the NHS and key workers by creating an X1 Clap for our Carers video. Each team member recorded themselves clapping from their homes and their Content Marketing Manager then collaborated all the footage into one big video which was released on Thursday 26th March at 8pm in line with the National campaign.
