The 3 Peaks Challenge is part of their project

Afzal Shaikh is part of the five Bellway Graduates working for Bellway Homes Kent Division.  Afzal comments “We plan on completing the Yorkshire 3 peaks challenge as part of our project to raise money for CRUK. As part of the fundraising, we have come up with a cost plan and a project initiation document for the event.

Bellway Homes has decided to donate £3 million by 2023 to our charity of choice CRUK. Although there are multiple charities that they support through funds every year, CRUK is the biggest partner”.

Their aim is to help make a difference

Their story is very simple and straightforward. All 5 of the graduates, which includes Afzal, Fergus, Alice, Gareth, and Munashe know someone who has been diagnosed with cancer.  They know how hard it is for the person who’s fighting the battle, and the people around them.  Every year nearly 17 million people get diagnosed with this life-threatening disease. Hence, they decided to do what they can to help with the process of developing a cure for it. With the idea of doing something more than a simple donation for cancer research, they decided to create awareness, and develop team-building skills along the way by climbing the 3 peaks together.

Their aim through this event is to help make a difference and have a real impact. Every donation they get will be double matched by Bellway as part of their £3 million by 2023 scheme. This means that for every £1 we receive as a donation, £3 pounds will be donated to CRUK

Agents Giving and the Guild of Property Professionals wish you luck in your challenge.
