Running a number of challenges throughout 2023
There is no stopping Chris Ellis of Harrisons Homes, Chris is no stranger to raising funds for charity. Not only does he donate £50 to child bereavement charity Holding on Letting Go and as of end of March 2023 Harrisons Homes have raised £21807.25.
Not content with this, Chris want’s to personally add to this figure by undertaking a number of running challenges throughout 2023. He started off with the Paddock Wood half Marathon on 12th March, which he completed in just 1hr 42mins and 35 seconds.
Chris’ second challenge is The Hackney Half Marathon, which takes place on 21st May, where he is hoping to to beat his previous time and raise even more money for Holding on Letting Go

Giving support and guidance to parents and carers
Holding On Letting Go is a Kent-based charity that helps children to cope with the death of someone close to them.
Often the children they see have lost their mum, dad, grandparents, a sibling or a friend. Sometimes more than one person in their family has died or there are sudden and traumatic circumstances surrounding the death, such as suicide, a road accident or murder.
Since the adults around them are also grieving, these children often feel unable to express their feelings or talk about their loved one or their sadness.
Many adults don’t know how to support children through the grieving process, so Holding On Letting Go give support and guidance to parents and carers too.
