Manager Julie Brown and team at Thomas Charles Lettings are no strangers to fundraising for charity. Julie and friends have decided to put their trainers back on.
The Bedford Running Festival will be taking place over the weekend of Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd September. This year Thomas Charles Lettings are proud to support SMART who have a team taking part to help to raise much needed funds for the Prebend Street Centre.
SMART provide critical support to people in crisis
SMART has been providing homelessness support for over 25 years and is a highly regarded local charity. As well as their sheltered accommodation properties and emergency temporary accommodation at a local Bedford hotel, they also run a centre on Prebend Street which provides critical support to people in crisis for maintaining or finding safe housing, run mental health clinics, offer support for drug and alcohol misuse, and have regular visits from an NHS GP and Nurses. The centre also offers hot meals, clean clothing & sleeping bags, food bank vouchers, hot showers, and access to laundry facilities.
Agents Giving and The Guid of Property Professional are delighted to support with a grant to a great charity challenge in aid of SMART.
